Enthesitis (painful swelling of ligaments or tendons), one of the hallmarks of severe psoriatic arthritis (PsA), is present in 1 in 3 patients, but often goes unnoticed by Rheumatologists. Without knowing that enthesitis is underlying their patient’s PsA, Rheums may never know why the treatment they prescribed isn’t having the desired effect.
We had to inform HCPs of a hidden danger, and show them how to be the hero their patients deserve.
